Thank you, Sean and Kristin for fostering and Jack on transport. Woo, hoo!!!

Buddy (aka, “The Ladies Man”, aka “Howly”) is a laid-back handsome 2-year-old boy, approximately 40lbs.  He’s a red-tri male, with a handsome white face, deep red fur, caramel eyes, and a totally wiggle butt.

Buddy loves to be in constant contact with his humans and other dogs. He’s so sweet and goofy like, with that tongue of his always sticking out.  He’s been around small humans and done fine.  He’s not bothered by, nor all that interested in cats.

He is great on a leash – and gets very excited when you grab the lead and he’ll run to be ready at the door.  Does not pull and is a gentleman on walks*.

*AUSSIE DISCLAIMER*  The above statement does not apply to any smaller animals that they may encounter on their travels. Such as: Squirrels, rabbits, or skunks, etc. that always seem to want to play hide and seek and he’s on board with a chase.

Working on building his confidence with the basics of sit, wait, and stay.  And that the trashcan is not a source of goodies.  He can become skittish and has run from loud noises (not a fan of thunder or fireworks!).

He’s a fan of water and loves to lay in the pool, all feet out – frog splay- position, to cool his belly and likes to blow bubbles in the water!! He lets us know by just how wet his entire snout is!

Buddy would do best in a home where he has a buddy to pal around with, when his human is available to entertain him.

To learn more about Buddy, please complete the adoption application on our website under “Adopt”.  Buddy’s foster home is in NW Houston.
