Brony, STAR #1833

ADOPTED

Brony, STAR #1833

Handsome Brony is now home with his new family, the Messengers. Brony joins Oliver Black (STAR #1144) and tripod sister, Jillian. We love this family who are Alumni, Aussie savvy, and also volunteer with STAR on transports and more.  So excited that Brony has found a wonderful, loving home.  Thank you, Nancy for fostering and Mike for transport.

Brony is a big, handsome, red merle boy weighing in at 70 pounds, and not fat.   He’s about 18 months old, up to date on his vaccinations and neutered.  He even has the six month heartworm vaccination.

He still has quite a bit of puppy left in him when he gets settled in.  He’s getting good with returning a ball and frisbee, still better at the catching than the return.  He loves to play with his two, 7 year old roommates, one male and one female Aussie.  He plays well without being too rough.  He is very laid back and easy to get along with.

He will go in his crate with a treat enticement but has gone in a couple of times on command only.  He is house trained and generally well behaved.  He is left to roam when I leave for errands but is still crated overnight.  He is very smart and learns quickly.  A no will get his attention and he only has to be told once.  Except for down/off and food activities, he can be a little resistant then.  Training will certainly be an advantage since he is a quick learner.

He’s not a clingy boy, but will follow you everywhere.  He’s just a big, sweet, lovable boy.

If you would like to know more about Brony, please go to the website, read about Adoption and submit our application..

Brony is a Red Merle Male, approximately 1.5 years old and a big boy at 70lbs.  His owners had a change in life circumstances and did not have time to care for him.  He will be vetted and evaluated in his foster home in Katy and possibly available early July pending vetting.
