Brewer will be staying forever in his loving foster home with Carrie and family as those eyes and smile convinced them he was “home”! From stray in Louisiana to STAR to a loving home is what our rescue is all about – and we thank Carrie, a long-time STAR volunteer, and her family for caring for fostering and shepherding him thru his medical needs. We look forward to updates on his adventures.
Brewer landed with STAR from Louisiana – found as a stray and landed in the shelter in the New Ibera parish. He’s a blue merle male, around 1.5 years old and 50lbs. If this is your dog, please contact us and be prepared to show proof of ownership and pay our medical expenses. Sadly, he’s HW positive, so we will get this fully vetted, treated, microchipped and cared for in a foster home in the Dallas area. He may be available in October.
