Boonie Wright, STAR # 1819

ADOPTED

Boonie Wright, STAR # 1819

Boonie is heading home to live with his new family, Gen and fur buddy Luna.  Gen grew up with Aussies and was so excited to add another to her family.  Boonie went from being dumped on the side of the county road, to a wonderful foster home at Melissa’s farm, and now on to fun life where he’ll get lots walks, hikes and TLC.  Win/Win!

A note from Boonie..

“Hi, my name is Boonie Wright! I am approximately 2 years old. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. I weigh 62 pounds. I have lived at my foster parents house for about 6 weeks now.
I have been living on a ranch with horses, goats, cats and other dogs. I will try and herd the horses if I get the chance and I do well with my other foster brothers and sisters. I don’t pay any attention to the cats but I am also not loose with them in the household. I do like to play with my other foster dogs when they want to run and play with me. I love to run in the yard and chase balls but I do not bring them back.
I love my foster Mom and I don’t like her to get very far away from me. I will stay close by and lay by her whenever she is sittng down. I sleep in her bedroom floor right beside her bed so I know where she is
at all times!
I know how to sit and sometimes when I get excited to see my foster Mom I like to jump up but we are working on that. I like to go on walks and I am very good on a leash. I do not pull and I will sit when we stop walking. I do
not pay attenton to other dogs while I am taking a walk.
I like my dinner and I like dog snacks. I will share with others and I am not aggressive toward others when I am eating. I love to spend time outside in my kennel when the weather is nice and I will go right
in when my foster Mom asks me to.
I am a very sweet boy and I am searching for my forever home with humans who would like to spend time with me. I would do best with someone who has time to spend with me on a daily basis.”
We can’t wait to see what Boonie’s coat will look like when it’s no longer sunbleached.. !!
If you would like to meet Boonie, please go to our website.. read about Adoption and submit an application.. Boonie is ready for a forever home.. His foster home is in Floresville..
