Bodhi, STAR #1821

Bodhi, aka “Mr. Busybody/ Shenanigator” was adopted by the Stackpole family. This Aussie savvy team is ready to add to their household and Chester gets a playmate. There’s a Koi Pond in the back yard and here’s to hoping, as they say in Finding Nemo – “fish are friends, not food.” Thank you so much to Nancy who fostered this boy and cared for him until we could find him a great home. Thank you, Tracy for the home visit.

Meet Bodhi!  He is a black tri male, 1 year old and 52lbs.  His nickname is Mr. Handsome, Mr. Personality, Mr. Busy Body and Mr. Entertainer.

Bodhi is a happy-go-lucky guy who is just waiting to be educated in the finer things in life.  He is curious and dare we say, thoughtful.  He has the most adorable head tilt and the most endearing face.  He is a big boy, but he often thinks he’s a lap dog.

He gets along well with his Aussie roommates- both genders.  He plays hard and definitely needs a pal in his next home who is as sturdy and playful as he is. He is a very busy boy, but not excessively energetic.  The trick is to keep him entertained and exercised.

He is getting good at chasing a ball and most of time, bringing it back.  As mentioned, he is very curious and needs to be supervised closely when he is not crated – or he will find himself some kind of trouble (or you’ll lose a remote control!).

He knows sit, will try to give you his paw and is housebroken.  He crates easily with a treat and does not complain unless he needs to go outside.  He is crated overnight, roams the house, supervised, during the day.  When not supervised during the day, he is crated.

He has been neutered, is up to date on his vaccinations and tested negative for heart worms.

If you are interested in learning more, please complete an application under “adopt” and then we’d love to chat with you to see if he’d be a good fit.

His foster home is in Katy, TX
