Bingo, STAR # 1808

Bingo was adopted by the Haver family.  He will be an only dog – getting all their time and attention with lots of walks, frisbee play and hikes around the area’s greenbelt trails and lakes.  We are so happy to have this family join our STAR alumni and that Bingo has found a home that’s perfect for him. Thank you, Kristin and Sean for transport and fostering and to Jack for the home visit.

Bingo is an almost 1-yr old Red-Bi Male and roughly 50lbs.  He was an owner surrender due to the HOA rules regulating the number of animals one home can have outside at a given time.

From his foster home:

Bingo is gaining confidence every day!  At first, he was very shy and timid to new situations – and he takes a little time to warm up to his surroundings.  He gets along with the other dogs in the house – is playing more and learning the ropes at being a dog. He is happy when he’s out walking and does nicely on a leash – though he has a great squirrel radar and wants to meet them!  He’s a very fast learner and loves toys (will chew on, but not destroy).

House trained and good in a crate.  He’s been a picky eater, and takes his time to finish a meal, so it would need to be picked up if other dogs are fed at same time with access to his bowl.  He does love to counter surf and would love to eat your sandwich if you leave it in reach (so he’s not that picky!)

Recent trip to the groomers went very well and he tolerated everything fine. Gets along fine with the cat in the household and has been fine around kids.

Bingo would do well in a home with another active dog to show him the ropes and play.  He would do fine as an only dog as well.  He’s a smart dog and will make a wonderful addition to any home.

He’s been neutered, fully vetted and his HW-.  Bingo’s foster home is in Houston.
