Winslow, STAR #1963
Winslow’s story is one that defines why STAR exists! He was found as a stray with medical issues – needing an eye removal and treatment for heartworms. The Carpio-Ishaq family fostered him, nursed him back to health, gave him all the TLC he deserved, and in the course of all this – fell in love! So, he’s found his forever home, and we are so very happy for him and the family. Thank you, Samantha for bringing him to us.
Found as a stray in Cold Spring, this black tri male appears to be around 3 years old and weighs around 50lbs. He has some medical issues, including an injured eye and sadly, he’s HW+. We are grateful to Samantha for finding and holding him until we could secure a foster. He may be available for adoption late March. We expect he will be adopted by his foster home.
