Seger, STAR #1840

Handsome Seger is now a much-loved member of the Valenzuela family. This Aussie savvy family has adopted from rescues in the past and were ready for another – and Seger is a perfect match. Seger gets a new family with a daughter who is looking forward to having an Aussie and their 1.5-year golden named Sandy who’s excited to have a wrestle mate. Thank you, Nancy for another foster job well done and to Jack for the home visit. Welcome to STAR, Valenzuela family!

Seger is a 8-month-old Red Merle Male who is around 41 lbs. From his foster mom:

Seger is a happy, mostly well-behaved – for his age.  He is very laid back except for the times he’s in “Puppy Mode”, usually early in the day.  He gets along well with his Aussie roommates, male and female, both 7 years old.  He loves to be loved on.  He has a good understanding of “no” and learns quickly.  If he is in a new situation, he will often just find a place to sit quietly until he wraps his head around what is going on and he feels safe. 

He crates easily and does not create a fuss unless he really needs out.  He will give a bark/alert/greeting to someone he doesn’t know but will quickly engage with them for the required pets. 

He has beautiful coloring and a tiny, tiny spot of blue in his left eye. He is submissive and doesn’t make any waves.

He is very charismatic and will quickly steal your heart.”
