Atlas, STAR #2155

Meet our newest STAR Boy! Atlas is a handsome 1½-year-old double merle male and weighs 40 pounds. While double merles are often associated with vision and hearing impairments, we’re happy to share that he has no known sight or hearing issues and is an active, healthy young dog. His family made the difficult decision to surrender him because he was not a good match for their household cat. Sometimes even good dogs just aren’t the right fit for every home. He’s now settling into foster care, where we’ll get to know his personality, evaluate him with other dogs, and learn what type of forever home will help him thrive.
